Reviews and Publications
I participated in an online interview with Darrin Morrison, curator of the Vestige exhibition, to collaborate on the exhibition essay/publication. March, 2018
A selection of photographic images from Under the Sky, part of my larger project, The Qixia Qu Suite, has been published in issue 28-12 (China), M714 (Int.) of Arts Monthly, one of China’s leading arts publications. This includes an interview conducted in May of 2014 with the Chinese painter, Shen Qin and myself about a collaborative project we are working on. This follows a series of discussions over the last three years in which both locate their respective practices in relation to specific cultural traditions invested in the nature of illumination, transcendence and the framing of the pictorial space.
